Before Your Laboratory Appointment
• Follow the fasting and timing instructions for your selected panel.
• Water is encouraged during fasting unless you receive different instructions.
• Tell us about all medications and supplements, including biotin.
• Continue prescribed medications unless your healthcare provider instructs you otherwise.
• Tell us about recent illness, pregnancy, or other circumstances that may affect testing.
• If you have diabetes or take medication that can lower blood sugar, ask for individualized fasting instructions.

General Wellness Panel — $129
Get a helpful snapshot of your overall health with testing that evaluates blood counts, metabolic markers, thyroid function, cholesterol, and vitamin D.
Included tests:
• Complete Blood Count — CBC: Evaluates red and white blood cells, hemoglobin, hematocrit, and platelets.
• Comprehensive Metabolic Panel — CMP: Assesses glucose, electrolytes, kidney and liver markers, protein, and calcium.
• Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone — TSH: Screens thyroid function.
• Hemoglobin A1C: Reflects average blood sugar over approximately three months.
• Lipid Panel: Measures total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, and triglycerides.
• Vitamin D, 25-OH: Evaluates vitamin D status.
Follow the preparation instructions provided by Doe River before your appointment.
Fatigue & Nutrient Panel — $189
Explore common nutritional, metabolic, and thyroid-related factors that may contribute to fatigue, low energy, weakness, hair changes, or changes in overall well-being.
Included tests:
• Complete Blood Count — CBC
• Comprehensive Metabolic Panel — CMP
• Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone — TSH
• Free T4
• Ferritin
• Iron and Total Iron-Binding Capacity — TIBC
• Vitamin B12
• Folate
• Vitamin D, 25-OH
• Magnesium
• Zinc
Together, these tests assess blood counts, general metabolic markers, thyroid function, iron availability and storage, and selected vitamins and minerals.
Preparation
For the most consistent iron and zinc results, a morning blood draw after fasting for 8–12 hours may be recommended. Water is encouraged.
Important Considerations
Laboratory testing is only one part of evaluating fatigue and nutritional health. Diet, supplements, medications, recent illness, inflammation, sleep, stress, and other factors can affect results.
Normal results do not exclude every cause of fatigue, and an abnormal result does not independently establish a diagnosis.
Comprehensive Women's Hormone Panel — $229
Take a comprehensive look at metabolic health, thyroid function, vitamin D status, and key female hormones.
This is Doe River's standard initial laboratory panel for patients considering women's bioidentical hormone therapy.
Included tests:
• Complete Blood Count — CBC
• Comprehensive Metabolic Panel — CMP
• Lipid Panel
• Hemoglobin A1C
• Vitamin D, 25-OH
• Estradiol — E2
• Progesterone
• Free and Total Testosterone with SHBG
• Follicle-Stimulating Hormone — FSH
• Luteinizing Hormone — LH
• Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone — TSH
• Free T4
• Free T3
• Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies — TPO Antibodies
• DHEA-Sulfate — DHEA-S
Preparation
Complete this panel after fasting for 8–12 hours. Water is encouraged, and a morning appointment is recommended.
For women who are still menstruating, we may coordinate collection with the menstrual cycle, particularly when evaluating estradiol and progesterone. Individualized timing instructions will be provided when appropriate.
Important Considerations
Hormone levels fluctuate throughout the menstrual cycle and during perimenopause. Hormonal contraception, IUDs, hormone therapy, pregnancy, medications, and other factors may affect results.
Laboratory values alone cannot independently diagnose or exclude perimenopause, menopause, or a hormonal disorder.
Completing this panel does not guarantee eligibility for hormone therapy. Treatment requires a separate medical consultation, symptom assessment, history and medication review, and individualized discussion of risks and benefits.

Book “Women's BHRT Nurse Call” first. An RN will review initial information and help coordinate the appropriate next steps.
Comprehensive Men's Hormone Panel — $229
Take a comprehensive look at metabolic markers, thyroid function, prostate-related markers, and hormones involved in testosterone production.
This is Doe River's standard initial laboratory panel for patients considering testosterone replacement therapy.
Included tests:
• Free and Total Testosterone with SHBG
• Free and Total PSA
• Complete Blood Count — CBC
• Comprehensive Metabolic Panel — CMP
• Estradiol — E2
• Follicle-Stimulating Hormone — FSH
• Luteinizing Hormone — LH
• Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone — TSH
• Free T4
• Free T3
• Insulin-Like Growth Factor 1 — IGF-1
• Hemoglobin A1C
• Lipid Panel
• DHEA-Sulfate — DHEA-S
Preparation
Complete this panel while fasting and as early in the morning as possible. Do not eat or drink anything other than water for 8–12 hours before collection.
Tell us about prostate inflammation or infection, urinary symptoms, recent ejaculation, vigorous cycling, or recent prostate procedures, as these may affect PSA results.
Important Considerations
Completing this panel does not guarantee eligibility for testosterone treatment.
Diagnosis of testosterone deficiency requires compatible symptoms and consistently low testosterone levels, generally confirmed with testing on two separate mornings. A medical consultation, health-history review, and physical assessment when indicated are also part of determining treatment eligibility.
Interested in TRT?

Advanced Heart Health Lab Panel — $179
Take a more detailed look at cholesterol, lipoproteins, and inflammation. This expanded panel provides information beyond a traditional cholesterol test alone.
Included tests:
• Lipid Panel: Measures total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, and triglycerides.
• C-Reactive Protein — CRP: Measures a marker of inflammation.
• NMR LipoProfile: Evaluates the number and characteristics of cholesterol-carrying lipoprotein particles, including LDL particle number.
• Lipoprotein(a) — Lp(a): Measures a primarily inherited lipoprotein associated with increased cardiovascular risk.
Preparation
Fasting may be recommended. Follow the collection instructions provided by Doe River.
Important Considerations
This panel does not replace a comprehensive cardiovascular evaluation, including blood pressure, family history, medical history, smoking status, medications, and lifestyle.
Abnormal results do not independently diagnose heart disease, and normal results do not eliminate cardiovascular risk.
Comprehensive Weight & Metabolic Lab Panel — $179
Explore metabolic, thyroid, nutritional, and general health markers that may be relevant to weight and overall wellness.
Included tests:
• Complete Blood Count — CBC
• Comprehensive Metabolic Panel — CMP
• Hemoglobin A1C
• Lipid Panel
• Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone — TSH
• Free T4
• Fasting Insulin
• Vitamin D, 25-OH
• Vitamin B12
• Ferritin
Preparation
This panel requires fasting. Do not eat or drink anything other than water for 8–12 hours before collection. A morning appointment is recommended.
Important Considerations
Fasting insulin does not independently diagnose insulin resistance. Laboratory testing is only one part of evaluating weight and metabolic health.
Completing this panel does not guarantee eligibility for prescription weight-loss treatment. Medical eligibility is determined separately through a consultation, history and medication review, and clinical assessment.

Comprehensive Thyroid Health Panel — $79
Take a closer look at thyroid function with testing that goes beyond a basic TSH screening.
This panel may be considered when evaluating symptoms such as fatigue, weight changes, temperature sensitivity, constipation, palpitations, or changes in hair or skin.
Included tests:
• Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone — TSH
• Free T4
• Free T3
• Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies — TPO Antibodies
Preparation and Important Considerations
Thyroid results can be affected by medications, supplements, pregnancy, recent illness, and other factors.
Biotin can interfere with certain thyroid tests. Tell us about all medications and supplements you take and follow the preparation instructions provided.
A positive TPO antibody result may suggest autoimmune thyroid disease but does not independently establish thyroid dysfunction or mean medication is required.
